What Is the IELTS Speaking Test?
The speaking section of the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam will assess your student’s use of spoken English. It is intimidating for many students as they might do poorly on the test. However, most students with the right preparation and the right teacher can get a high score. you can help your students approach this section of the exam with confidence. In this blog post, we'll briefly talk about the IELTS speaking test. After that, we will mention what will be covered in the following blog posts of this section.
There is only a single version of the IELTS Speaking test, applicable to both IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. The Speaking questions and topics are identical in both of them. Your student will have a discussion with a certified examiner lasting between 11 and 14 minutes. This will be interactive, and It will be similar to a real-life discussion.
The Test Has Three Parts
The IELTS speaking test has three parts, and they are:
•In Part 1, your student will answer questions about themselves and their family.
•In Part 2, your student will discuss a given topic, which the examiner will introduce on the day. •In Part 3, your student will engage in a more extended discussion with the examiner on the topic introduced in Part 2.
